These terms govern your use of mlgprotection.com and your purchase of services from MLG Protection Services, LLC ("MLG"), 2515-B East Griffin Parkway, Mission, TX 78572, (956) 583-2004, info@mlgprotection.com. MLG is licensed by the Texas Department of Public Safety: company license #C20047 and training school license #F01356, under Texas Occupations Code Chapter 1702.
Guard, patrol, and investigation services are provided under written agreement for the site and scope stated in that agreement. Service descriptions on this site are general; your agreement controls the officers, hours, and duties provided.
MLG's courses provide training and, on passing the required exam, the applicable DPS course certificate (PSP-36 for Level II, PSP-30 for Level III classroom completion, PSP-31 for firearms proficiency where included). The license itself is issued solely by the Texas Department of Public Safety. Completing training does not guarantee licensure. Under Texas law (HB 1508), a criminal history may make a person ineligible for a security officer license even after completing training; you have the right to request a criminal history evaluation letter from DPS before enrolling.
Course prices listed on this site are the full course fee. DPS application fees and fingerprint fees are separate and are paid directly to the state. MLG does not guarantee employment, placement, or any job outcome from completing a course.
Level III and Level IV courses include in-person components that must be completed as scheduled. Range qualification and skills sessions are completed in person with a licensed instructor as described on the course page.
Reports are prepared by MLG's licensed investigators for a legitimate business or legal purpose stated by the buyer. MLG verifies the stated purpose before any search is run and may decline a request. Reports are not provided for hiring, tenant screening, credit, or insurance eligibility decisions, and are not for personal curiosity. Reports are confidential to the requester and prepared for the stated purpose only. Availability of any record varies by county and state.
Card payments are processed through Stripe's secure checkout. MLG does not receive or store full card numbers. Cash and voucher payments for training are accepted at the Mission office by prior arrangement.
See our Refund Policy. In short: once your classroom is opened, the course fee is non-refundable, except that MLG will refund in full if MLG cancels your course; in-person skills and range sessions may be rescheduled once with at least 48 hours' notice. Once MLG has begun work on a background report, the report fee is non-refundable; if MLG declines your request before work begins, the fee is refunded in full. Refund requests: (956) 583-2004 or info@mlgprotection.com.
Course content, schedules, prices, and service descriptions may change. MLG will honor the price and course description in effect at the time of your payment for that enrollment or request. These terms may be updated by posting a revised version on this page.
These terms are governed by Texas law. Questions about these terms may be directed to info@mlgprotection.com or (956) 583-2004.
